Reading the Research Behind the Green Tea Healthy Habit

Its seems a though everybody has been on a green tea binge lately which is great because its a very healthy habit. I am just so excited about all the research out there on the benefits of green tea. The good news just keeps coming. However, don’t stop your research with my article. Because I’m no “expert” in the field, just a beauty goddess who does her research. (and yes, that is my official title) Instead, you can look at the information I gathered available everywhere:

2001 International Journal of Cancer
If you drink green tea it can help prevent chronic diseases, such as gastritis and stomach cancer. Scientists analyzed people for this study. You are not dealing with mice or fish and green tea. These were real people who live in China.

2003 International Journal of Cancer
Green tea can also hinder angiogenesis and some forms of cancer. If angiogenesis is occurring in your blood cells then cancer can also develop. The healthy habit of green tea can actually help inhibit the growth of cancer already in existence.

2006 Journal of American Medical Association
There has also been a decrease in carcinogenic deaths due to green tea. This study proved that people who drank a lot of green tea had lower death rates due to cancer. In a nutshell, green tea basically appears to help them avoid or recover from cancer better.

2009 American Journal of Epidemiology
Green tea will also help to prohibit blood and lymph cancers. The probability of you developing any of these cancers will be cut in half if you drink at least 5 cups of green tea a day.

Those are just four reasons out of thousands.

Green tea is really a habit worth keeping. Start drinking green tea and making it a habit if you don’t already. So you should really believe me and start a great new habit that will be better for you in the long run. You can make your own or take it as a supplement. Try it in a capsule if you don’t like the taste. Your will live longer and healthier by indulging in this healthiest of habits.
